Research
My research is in theoretical condensed matter physics, with an emphasis on collective quantum phenomena and ways of controlling them through interfaces, interactions, geometry, and the surrounding environment.
Superconductivity
I work on conventional and unconventional superconductivity, including interface-enhanced superconductivity, microscopic pairing mechanisms, and superconducting heterostructures.
Quantum magnetism and spintronics
I am interested in spin transport, magnon generation, superconducting spintronics, and the coupling between magnetic and superconducting systems.
Topological quantum matter
My work also includes topological phases of matter, higher-order topological insulators and superconductors, and the relation between topology and experimentally observable boundary phenomena.
Disordered and amorphous systems
A further direction concerns electronic structure, multifractality, and interaction effects in disordered and amorphous quantum materials.
